The SKIF OFP single-, two-, and three-phase filtration unit

The SKIF OFP single-, two-, and three-phase filtration unit is designed for determining the filtration, storage, and electrical properties of core samples under reservoir conditions using single-, two-, or three-phase steady-state and unsteady-state flow filtration.

The equipment is used in determining oil displacement coefficients by water/gas, in evaluating the effectiveness of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods using physical and chemical techniques, and in studying relative phase permeabilities under reservoir conditions.

Automated control processes for the unit;
Fluid filtration in both forward and reverse directions;
Data logging of filtration processes with graphical display of key parameters on a separate monitor;
Remote monitoring and control of the unit (via the Internet or Wi-Fi networks) using a mobile phone or tablet.

Measurement of fluid viscosity under reservoir conditions, capillary viscometer;
Establishment of residual water saturation, initial oil and gas saturations;
Electrometry, resistivity measurements, determination of specific electrical resistivity (SER) using 2- and 4-electrode methods;
Oil and gas displacement by water in accordance with OST 39-195-86, modeling of two heterogeneous permeability layers, polymer flooding;
Creation of an acid bath and modeling of well acid treatment;
Drilling mud cake formation, modeling of reservoir damage by drilling fluids, permeability restoration;
Determination of relative phase permeabilities in water-oil, water-gas, and oil-gas systems in accordance with OST 39-235-89;
Determination of absolute gas permeability coefficient in accordance with GOST 26450.2-85;
Determination of acoustic properties (propagation velocity of elastic longitudinal and transverse ultrasonic waves) during multiphase filtration (ultrasonic plungers with 3 filtration channels) in accordance with GOST 21153.7-75;
