The SKIF-HPD high-pressure pump is designed to create a continuous flow of liquid without pressure pulsations. It can be used to transfer downhole samples of reservoir fluids and to generate excess pressure within the working cells of PVT (Pressure-Volume-Temperature) systems. It is utilized in a range of experimental studies to determine the thermodynamic properties of reservoir fluids.
